Meet Hans Hess
Hans Hess has been closely associated with Swissmem for over 11 years, and was elected to the association’s Management Committee in 1999 and its Executive Committee in 2004. He became Vice-President in 2007 and has been President since November 2010. From 2007 to 2010 he was Swissmem's representative on the Executive Committee of the Swiss Employers’ Association. Hans Hess has been a member of the Executive Board of economiesuisse (Swiss Business Federation) since 2009 and its Vice-President since 2011.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of several industrial companies since 2006, specifically: Comet Holding AG, Flamatt (Board Chairman since 2007); Reichle & deMassari Holding AG (Board Chairman since 2007); Burckhardt Compression Holding AG, Winterthur (Board member since 2006) and Kaba Holding AG, Rümlang (Board member since 2012).
