Presented by: Julie Bertolus,  Board Member, ANHW Switzerland

coffeenotcocktailsYou know networking is important - no surprises. A good network can help you raise funds for your startup, get promoted, bring new ideas, and build your reputation. Yet women who try to network exactly like men will probably not succeed.

Scientific research reveals that smart networking for women depends on building certain relationships with both men and women. Networking is more about coffee and less about cocktails. More about being involved in activities and less about networking events. About building relationships rather than collecting business cards. Giving versus taking.  And having the right networking strategy is what you need to reach your goals.

In this interactive webinar, Dr. Shaner will discuss how to create a science-based networking strategy, customized for women, for better results.

About the Alumnae Network of Harvard Women Switzerland

In 2013, a group of Radcliffe and Harvard alumnae founded the Alumnae-i Network for Harvard Women (ANHW) with the intent of connecting students, alumnae, faculty and administrators from all Harvard schools. Our immediate goal is to provide opportunities for networking and a platform from which to address issues of particular concern to women in the Harvard community and beyond. New Chapters and Discussion Groups are growing in number monthly, and events are hosting all over the world, as the ANHW website shows: http://www.harvardwomensig.com/.
