Visit of the Atelier of the world famous architecture firm in Basel

Dear Harvardians,

 

The Harvard Club of Switzerland invites you to a unique visit of the Atelier of the world famous architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron in Basel. Among other Harvard ties, Herzog & de Meuron is currently participating in the renovation of the Gund Hall at the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD).

The evening will include a guided tour of the Atelier of Herzog & de Meuron by Ms Christine Binswanger, Senior Partner. This tour will be followed by a Q&A session and an opportunity to network around drinks and finger food.

  

Capacity: 25 alumni, no guests
Cost: CHF 50 (online payment via registration link below)


Please register early as we have limited capacity for this event (maximum of 25 participants). This event is primarily reserved for Harvard Club members. It will be opened for guests only if there are available spots (which will be announced separately, if any).


N.B.: Herzog & de Meuron requires the signature of a non-disclosure agreement, which will be handed out to participants at the start of the event.

About Herzog & De Meuron

 

Herzog & de Meuron is a partnership led by Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron with Senior Partners Christine Binswanger, Ascan Mergenthaler, Stefan Marbach, Esther Zumsteg, and Jason Frantzen.

In 2014, Herzog & de Meuron were awarded the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize (MCHAP) for 1111 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach. Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron were awarded the title of doctor honoris causa in 2018 by the Technical University of Munich.
