Meet Rolf Stangl
Amongst other leadership roles, Rolf Stangl served as CEO of SIG Group AG, a Swiss aseptic packaging provider, from 2008 to December 2020. Before becoming CEO of SIG in 2008, Mr. Stangl held a number of positions within SIG, including Head of Corporate Development and M&A, Chief Executive Officer of SIG Beverage (a division subsequently divested), and Chief Market Officer.
He currently is a Senior Advisor at Apollo Global Management. With a wealth of experience spanning over two decades, he has played a pivotal role in the firm's investment strategies and initiatives in infrastructure and natural resources sectors globally. His leadership and expertise have contributed to Apollo's success in identifying and executing lucrative investment opportunities, solidifying its position as a leading alternative investment manager.
He has earned a degree in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. His academic achievements have equipped him with the analytical skills and strategic mindset necessary for navigating the complexities of the financial industry. His combination of academic rigor and practical experience has been instrumental in becoming a seasoned leader with extensive CEO experience in Private Equity.
