Christophe Girod

Christophe Girod

The General Hospice is the independent public institution that is in charge of social assistance in the canton of Geneva.

Christophe Girod has been with the institution since 2012, first serving as Director of Assistance to Asylum Seekers, then, since 2013, leading it as Director General. Prior to that he held executive positions for more than 25 years in the humanitarian field (ICRC, UN).



 

Erich Dürst

Erich Duerst

EVAM is the independent public institution that assists the asylum seekers of the canton of Vaud. Since the start of the war in Ukraine, the number of beneficiaries in its care has more than doubled.

Erich Dürst has been the Director of EVAM since 2012. Prior to that he was Head of the Asylum Division of the Vaud Population Service (SPOP) for 12 years and Delegate of the ICRC for 10 years..



 

Yvelyne Wood

Yevelyne Wood

UniRef is a Harvard alumni-run charity providing education to refugees in camps.

Yvelyne Wood is Executive Director of UniRef, which she created to tackle discrimination. She is a visual artist whose work focusing on the condition of women in wars is supported by the UN. Yvelyne’s husband, Bryan Wood, is Uniref’s CFO and a Harvard alumnus.
