Meet Our Guest:

Pascal O. Ravessoud

Christophe Girod

Pascal O. Ravessoud is Vice President of the Foundation Haute Horlogerie as well as President of the Cultural Council.

An atypical career and two paths that merge into one: technical studies with a focus on mechanics, followed by an initial experience in events organisation with a detour via pharmaceuticals. A youth that coincided with the Swatch watch craze, and a newfound passion for mechanical watches that has grown into an incurable case of acute collectionitis.

This concomitance laid the foundations for an immersion in the watch industry, first in international marketing and communications at Harry Winston Rare Timepieces, then at Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie where Pascal develops the Foundation’s “cultural” activities in various parts of the world, and its “Fine Watchmaking Label”.

Curious, open-minded, passionate about design, craftsmanship and mechanics, whether on the ground, up in the air, or on the wrist, Pascal enjoys nothing more than sharing his enthusiasm and experience.
